Owa Afrikan Market was established in 1994 to meet the needs of those seeking authentic clothing and crafts from Africa. The name “Owa” means “home” in the Edo Language. Africa is our home, and our goal is to share its beauty and culture with you all.

Owa Afrikan Market began as an African clothing and fabric store but, driven by customer demand, we expanded our inventory to include a variety of African items including food, musical instruments, books, toiletries, wood carvings, and spiritual and religious items. We also carry a variety of Ifa, Orisha, and African herbs used by Babalawos, Santeros, Paleros, Onishegun, Orisha Priests, and other Spiritual workers. Owa Afrikan Market is a USDA-approved and recognized business.
